Signed Photo Album - Herbert Samuel - Palestine, 1923
Album with 36 photographs documenting the residence of Herbert Samuel, the High Commissioner for Palestine, in the Augusta Victoria Compound. The photos include rare documentation of the compound, its environment, its rooms, and a meeting between Samuel and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husseini. Photographer: H. Orushkes, Tel Aviv. 1923. The album is hand signed and dedicated by the commissioner.
