Three books from the library of the Gahatz Rabbi Avraham Noah Palay with his signatures
1. Tshuvot Rabbi Akiva Eiger. Vienna 1889. Title page has a note: “From the books of Avraham Nah Palay of Losk.”
2. Sefer HaYam HaTalmud by Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Heschel. Halberstadt 1862. Signature on the title page: Palay. Stamps of his father-in-law, Rabbi Aryeh Leiv Dov Beer HaLevi Wolpert, Av Beit Din of Grinkishok, a student of the Kibbutz Lomdei Torah in Ishishok. In 1873 he served as rabbi in Wielki. In 1876 he became rabbi in Grinkishok, in the Kovna region. He was certified by Rabbi Yaakov Eliyahu Segel of Williampol. His sons-in-law: Rabbi Ben Zion Yaakovson of Niezin, Rabbi Avraham Noah Palay of Shklov, Rabbi Avraham Yosef Lindin of Devinsk, Rabbi Shlomo Asaisky. (Otzer HaRabbanim 3286).
3. Machaneh Ephraim by Rabbi Ephraim Navon. Warsaw 1910. Title page has a note: “From the books of Avraham Nah Palay of Losk.” Page 72 has a handwritten note.

Rabbi Avraham Noah Palay (1876-1932) became well-known for his moral influence in the yeshiva world. He served the Gaon Ridbaz, studied with Rabbi Baruch Beer Leibowitz and served as Ram at his yeshiva. He served as Rosh Yeshiva in Halosk and as spiritual mashgiach in the Shklov yeshiva and finally in the Heichal HaTalmud in Tel Aviv. Various sizes and conditions.
