Letter from the Rebbe with instructions to be precise in the laws of tahara, demonstrating his concern and responsibility for all Jews, signed by the secretary. Tevet 1990.

The secretary opens with pleasantries, and then adds: “The Admor shlita adds: you must be precise in the laws of family purity…since sometimes, over time, the details of the laws are lost…it is imperative that you go over all the relevant laws.”
Signed by the Rebbe’s secretary, Rabbi Shalom Menachem Mendel Simpson, “in the name of the Admor shlita.” However, it is known that many letters supposedly signed by the secretaries were signed by the Rebbe himself in their names.
