Sefer Segula “so no evil accident will happen to you”: Sefer Migdal David by the Radbaz. First edition, Lemberg 1883.
Sefer segula with a guarantee of the Admor Tzemach Tzaddik of Vizhnitz, the work Migdal David, “a commentary on the Song of Songs from the … Marana v’Rabana David ben Zimra called the Radbaz.”
As written on the title page, the book was printed from a manuscript owned by the Admor Rahak Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager, the Tzemach Tzaddik, founder of the Vizhnitz dynasty. In his approbation on this printed work, he writes that he inherited the manuscript from his father, the Torat Chaim of Kosov, and guarantees that whoever buys this book “at the price set for it” will merit the protection of the author’s merit, “no evil accident will happen to you, chas v’shalom and peace will be upon you and you will be blessed with many blessings and success … Menachem Mendel ben HaRav Tzaddik.”
