Sefer Hadrat Melech, commentary on the Zohar by the Mekubal Rabbi Shalom Buzaglo. First edition in the author's lifetime, Amsterdam 1766. With an approbation by Rabbi Shaul Av Beit Din of Amsterdam the Binyan Ariel and brother-in-law of Rabbi Shaul Av Beit Din of Hague, the Binyan Shaul. [4], 116 leaves. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 331.
Quality paper. Fine margins. Stains. Original binding? Good overall condition.
At the end of the forewords and on the last page, ownership signatures: "בן ציון שניאורסאן מדריסא" - apparently, Rabbi Ben Zion Schneerson (1897-1977), the brother of Rebbetzin Nechama Dinah, the wife of the Rebbe Rauatz and son of Rabbi Avraham Schneerson of Kishinev, who was the son of Rabbi Yisroel Noah Schneerson, the son of the Admort the Tzemach Tzeddek.
Rabbi Ben Zion lived in Tel Aviv and was very close to the Rebbe, corresponding with him and even receiving a regular phone call from the Rebbe.
