The artist depicted probably one of the corners of Moscow with fishermen at their trade. The special technique of engraving on metal creates an image like a frame from a movie in which the movement of the fishermen's rods is particularly clearly conveyed, creating a dynamic composition.

Engraver: Pavlov Vyacheslav Ivanovich (1934-2014) is a graphic artist, Honoured artist of the RF (2000). 1944–1952 – practised under V. Е. Pestel at the coterie of the State History Museum. 1951 – studied at the workshop named after I. I. Nevinskiy. 1951–1959 – studied at the faculty of monumental painting of Moscow Higher School of Art and Industry. Simultaneously with his studies in monumental painting, he began to work intensively in etching at the workshop named after I. I. Nevinskiy. Since 1960 – participant of art exhibitions.

Artworks of V. I. Pavlov are kept in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery (State Tretyakov Gallery), the Russian museum (State Russian museum), the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts (Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts).
