Artist: Коlmakova Оlga Ivanovna (1905 - 1999) is a Soviet artist, painter, portrait artist. Since 1932 was repeatedly elected as a member of the board of Moscow subdivision of the Association of Artists, member of the board of Moscow subdivision of the Art Foundation. Exhibitions participant since 1929: Association of Youth of the Association of Artists of the Revolution, the Association of Artists of the Revolution, “Of young artists” (1934, 1936), “Of Моscow painters” (1937), “All-Union exhibition of young artists devoted to the twentieth anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League” (1959).
Оlga Коlmakova in addition to her main work on large narrative and compositional works, she has also appeared at exhibitions with still lifes, landscapes, and portraits.
Some paintings were published in postcards, printed in many magazines. Artworks of О.I. Коlmakova are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, in art museums of Кiev, Simferopol, Тver. Her fundamental painting "The Triumph of Symphony" is presented in Gnesins State School of Music.
