Удовлетворительное состояние. Подмоченный экземпляр, пятна от влаги на страницах. Обложка и страницы покороблены. Загрязнения обложки; края и углы надорваны, помяты. Утраты на корешке. На титульном листе помета чернилами. На обороте титульного листа следы от чернил. Карандашные пометы на страницах. Загибы уголков страниц. След от жучка на уголках страниц 29-34 и части вклеек с иллюстрациями.
Книга посвящена выставка русского художественного фарфора, проходившей в Государственном Русском музее в 1937 году. Экспозиция занимала 5 залов. В первом зале был выставлен фарфор первой половины XVIII в., во втором – предметы первой четверти XIX в.; в третьем – второй четверти XIX в.; в четвертом зале находились изделия, датируемые второй половиной 19 в.; и наконец, в последнем – советский фарфор. Наибольший интерес представляли экспонаты, выполненные на ИФЗ, заводах Гарднера, Миклашевского, Батенина, Юсупова, мануфактуры Попова и др. частных предприятий. Фарфор ЛФЗ занимал пять витрин последнего зала, Дулево и Вербилки – по одной витрине.
