Северный А. Автомобиль. Рисунки И. Ильинского. М.: Мособлхудожник, 1949. - 3-15 с., илл. Мягкая издательская иллюстрированная обложка. Формат 295х230 мм.
Удовлетворительное состояние. Обложка сильно загрязнена, потерта; имеются пятна от влаги. Утраты на краях обложки. След от сгибания вдвое. Края форзацев проклеены полосками бумаги. Ржавые скобы. Пятна от влаги, надрывы на страницах. Уголки страниц замяты.
На данный момент считается, что «Автомобиль» — это первая из известных работ в книжной иллюстрации Игоря Александровича Ильинского (1925-1989). В это время он еще был студентом художественного факультета ВГИКа. Данное издательство примечательно тем, что здесь присутствуют цветные иллюстрации. Вплоть до 60-х годов у И.А. Ильинского иллюстраций в цвете — считанные единицы.
