В целом хорошее состояние. Обложка отделена от блока, имеет крупный надрыв по корешку. Обложка потерта и загрязнена. Владельческая подпись чернилами на фронтисписе.
Первое издание. Книга видного советского балетоведа Юрия Иосифовича Слонимского (1902-1978) посвящена шедевру балетного театра — балету А. Адана «Жизель». Книга подробно рассказывает об истории создания и постановок, особенно русских и советских.
