Sha'arei Teshuva has several glosses in his handwriting.
The Gaon Rabbi Chaim Friedlander (1923-1986), one of the prominent figures of the Mussar movement in the last generation. An overseer at the Ponevezh Yeshiva and the Negev. In his youth, he was one of the first seven students of the Ponevezh yeshiva when it was established in the winter of 1943. He was close to the Mashgiach Rabbi Eliyahu Eliezer Dessler and saw himself as continuing his moral path. The books of the Ramchal that he glorified: "Daat Tevunot", "138 Pitchei Chochmah", "Adir Bamarom" and more. Many of the conversations he gave were published in the series "Siftei Chaim" - articles and talks, "Mesilot Hayim in Education" and more.
