Extraordinary and enlightening! An outstanding letter by the author of Tora Temima where as he emphasizes the holy importance of pictures of Gedolei Israel by expressing regrets not being able to send a picture of the Naziv, his great Rav and teacher. Nearly never we find comments about pictures of Zadikim, especially not in the Lithuanian world. In this outstanding letter Rav Baruch Halevy expresses the importance of the picture of his famous admired Rav.
He also writes about his wife, daughter of Rav Eliezer Moshe of Pinsk, who suffered from great sorrows and sadness at this time. He ends with a Bracha
'ויחדש ה' עלינו ועל כל עמו ב"י שנת חיים ושלום בכלל ובפרט'.
The letter was sent to his relative Rav Josef David Roshkin-Shachor, Rav of Antopol and Siemiatycze, in the year 1892.
