Austro-Hungarian Silver Spice Box Besamim Circa 1880
Austro-Hungarian Silver Spice Box Tower Besamim, Circa 1880, Judaica.
The spice box is shaped as a tree with five branches each with a detachable pierced lid applied with a flower ornament.
The stem is delicately engraved with floral and foliage ornaments and monogrammed with the Hebrew letters - AB (Aleph Beit).
Set on a round base with two beaded rims.
Marked with Austro-Hungarian silver marks.
Height - 21.5cm / 8.46in.
Base diameter - 7cm / 2.75in.
