Pair of Petticoat Brass Sabbath Candlesticks by Szekman, Warsaw, Poland, Circa 1890, Judaica.
Each with a bulbous stem chased intervals with foliate bands set on a square base.
Set above and below with skirted foliate knobs.
The candleholders of pear form.
Made and marked by the famous Polish Jewish silversmith I. Szekman, numbered 1139b, GALW, Warszawa.
Height: 30.5cm / 12in.
Base: 12.5cm X 12.5cm / 4.9in X 4.9in.
Condition: Minor dents.
