Signed etching in black on wove paper, signed by the artist John E. Costigan (1888 - 1972). The inscription on the bottom reads "cutting fodder - 1940 - edition of 100 for the Soc. of Am. Etchers - N.Y. Coll Libr. of Congress - Illustrated."
Measures 16 1/4 by 11 inches. Unframed. There is an ink stain located on the right front border (see image).
