Letter in the handwriting and signature of Rabbi Yosef Mashash - 1972.


Sent 'to the honor ... the Chassid Rabbi Moshe Atia'. In his letter, Rabbi Mashash apologizes for the delay in his response, and writes him a guide regarding a letter that was supposed to be delivered to the Turks: 'and Mr. Yitzchak Abkasis ... will guide his honor in the right way ... '.

Rabbi Yosef Mashash [1892-1974] was appointed rabbi of Talmassan and is only 31 years old, a position in which he served for 17 years, Av Beit Din of Meknes, and the Sephardic rabbi of Haifa. Cousin of Rabbi Shalom's father Mashash, Rabbi of Jerusalem.
