Sysoev Nikolai Aleksandrovich (1918, Slanskoye village of the Lipetsk region – 2001, Moscow).
People’s artist of the Russian Federation. In 1934 entered Moscow Art School “To the memory of 1905”, studied under K.F. Morozov, A.N. Chirkov, Ya.D. Romas. By the recommendation of I.E. Grabar and S.V. Gerasimov was taken in V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute without entrance examinations, studied under V.V. Favorsky, I.I. Chekmazov, M.F. Shemyakin. Graduated from the institute in 1948. Constant participant of all-union, republican and Moscow art exhibitions since 1949. The works of the artist are in V.I. Lenin Central Museum and in many regional museums.
