Troshin Nikolai Stepanovich (1897, Тula – 1990, Moscow).
Painter, graphic artist. He studied at the Penza art school named after N. D. Seliverstov with I. S. Goryushkin-Sorokopudov, N. F. Petrov (1913-1918), then in Moscow in the workshop of I. I. Mashkov (1918 – 1920). Since 1918, participant of exhibitions. Director and artist of a number of performances, worked on advertising posters. Chief artist of the magazine "USSR on construction". Troshin's personal exhibitions were held in Moscow and other Russian cities from 1968s. His works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Museum of modern history of Russia, and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
