The painting "Waterfall of Life" was painted by Vladimir Laskavy after a trip to holy places in Israel. A visit to the Ein Gedi nature reserve became a vivid memory and was reflected on the canvas. Ein Gedi is translated as “the source of the goat”. Yen Gedi, Yengeddi, Yngaddi, Ingaddi - a biblical city and place of battles, now a nature reserve and national park in Israel. It is located in the Judean Desert, on the Tel Goren Hill, in the immediate vicinity of the Nahal David Gorge. In 1953, a kibbutz was founded here, named after the gorge, and at present, extensive archaeological work is being carried out here.

The artist threw out his emotions on the canvas, shared his impressions of visiting one of the most amazing places in the world. As a source of life, an inexhaustible waterfall with an endless sparkling stream of water ...! The master managed to attract the eye of a common man in the street. He makes everyone think about the fleeting movement of life: leaving yesterday, slipping away today and impending tomorrow. And the silhouette of a proud bird depicted in the picture, as a reminder of the human soul, proudly hovers over the Earth, as a symbol of eternal life, and another reminder of the frailty of our world.

The work was selected for participation in the international competition Golden Time Interneshional Festival. According to the results of the competition in December 2020, the picture received the 1st degree Diploma. The highest award of the festival.
