3 Medals of Jewish Homes for the Aged - USA
A collection of three medals, issued by Jewish homes for the aged in the United States: 1. Medal issued to commemorate the half jubilee of the Hebrew Sheltering Home for the Aged in Los Angeles, California. The medal shows the tablets of the law with the commandment: Honor thy father and thy mother in Hebrew, alongside an image of an old man, a blue Jewish star, and inscriptions in English. The United States, 1936. Diameter: approximately 3 cm. Good condition, wear. 2.Two medals issued by the Home of the Sons and Daughters of Israel, home for the elderly in New York, to raise money for building the institute. The medal shows the planned building, alongside image of an old man and woman, and inscriptions in English. The United States, circa 1930. Diameter: approximately 3 cm. Good condition, stains, wear.
