46 photographs from Eretz Israel documenting the years of the War of Independence 1947-1949 - all depicted on the back in handwriting.
Among them: Street celebrations the day after the UN declaration on the end of the British Mandate [29 November], Magen David Square in Tel Aviv on the day of the UN proclamation 11/30/1947, processions and street celebrations in Tel Aviv the day after the UN proclamation, Facilities that were bombed during the War of Independence, building a combat post, men and women soldiers in an officers' course, various sights from the Yavneh colony in 1948 [construction of a bunker, etc.], photographs from the Eternal Yeshurun Gymnasium, photographs from the cities of Acre, Beria, Tel Hai, Kfar Nahum, Kinneret, and more.
