A rare collection of slides - soldiers of the jewish Brigade
A rare collection of 83 slides depicting the activities of Hebrew soldiers in the Jewish Brigade during World War II - various countries in Europe, as well as photographs of the Brigade's soldiers in Egypt. The slides are in an original box with a special device of magnifying glass for viewing them.
Among: a slide with a photograph of Moshe Sharet in a meeting with the soldiers, in fortification positions during World War II, in the parade, various group photographs of soldiers in various Battalions in the brigade, photographs of Company 18 "Maccabi" of the Palestine infantry, training, sports competitions, in dances, Waving Israeli flags after the war, propaganda parades to enlist in the brigade, as well as photographs of propaganda signs calling for enlistment in the army, brigade soldiers on their way back to Eretz Israel, and getting off the ship, and more.
