Pair Of Sterling Silver Torah Finials Rimonim, Joseph Zweig, London, England, 1920, Judaica.
The finials are chased with floral ornaments, each hung with 12 bells and applied with 12 lions.
Topped with a gilded eagle finial.
The stavs are engraved with a dedication (one in English and one in Hebrew), the English dedication reads - Presented to the Central Synagogue by Max Ribatzkie in memory of his dear departed father Mr. Hyman Ribatzkie February 9th 1921.


Hyman Ribatzkie (1848-1921), moved with his wife, Dora (1853-1936) from their native Poland to settle in England about 1880.
The 1901 Census records him as a - Job & Tent Dealer - when the couple were living with their four sons (including Marks, probably Max Ribatzkie Esq. of the inscription, then 21 years old) and four daughters at 151 Red Bank, Manchester.


Fully hallmarked (in several places) for London, England, dated 1920, maker's mark for Joseph Zweig.
