Orim v’Tumim, second section, the copy of Rabbi Shaul Moshe Zilberman with notes handwritten—Warsaw 1882.
Composition on the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat by Rabbi Yonatan Ivshitz. This copy belonged to Rabbi Shaul Moshe Zilberman (1850-1939), who served as rabbi of Virshov in Poland, and when he immigrated to Israel served as the rabbi of the Gur Chassidim in Israel. His son-in-law was Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Alter, son of Rabbi Moshe Betzalel Alter and father-in-law of Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter, the Admor of Gur, the “Pnei Menachem.” Signature handwritten by the Rav and stamp on the cover of the book, notes throughout the book, in addition there is a stamp of the signature “A. Mordechai Alter,” which would seem to be the father-in-law of the Pnei Menachem. Much moth damage, cover and additional pages are disconnected. Generally ok condition.
