Nesselrode to his correspondent expecting that the letter will be waiting for him on his return to Paris. A friendly and diplomatic letter, the Count stating in part `I have been informed that your health is keeping admirably well and am glad for this. Although I can´t complain about mine which has gladly survived to cholera, I won´t say that my health will stand for long with same success the strong emotions we daily go through because of the political and moral cholera which is distressing Europe´.
