Bridal Crown. Gold-Plated Silver Set with Stones
Impressive bridal crown. Gold plated silver, apparently not hallmarked. Set with red and green stones.
Temple Mount at center of the crown, large birds at right and left with the Hebrew text: "אעלה את ירושלים על ראש שמחתי" ["I will raise Jerusalem over the height of my joy"].
The seven sections, attached by hinges, close around the bride's head, and allow for size adjustment. All artisan-made.
Maximal diameter: 16 cm. Maximal height: 13 cm.
Very fine condition. Placed in a wooden case lined with a velvet interior.
