Rabbi Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz's Etrog Box. Stamped Silver

Silver etrog box, with a dedication to Rabbi Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz, "To Maran the Rosh Yeshivah, Shlit"a, Sukkot 2008."

Designed etrog box made of silver stamped, "Hadad ST 925." The interior is gilded. It includes a handle for carrying, a hook for closure and four pedestals. Maximal dimensions: Length and width 16x12 cm, height 13 cm. Weight approx. 600 g. A certificate from the family is included.

The great gaon Rabbi Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz [1913-2011] was among the leaders of the Lithuanian (Yeshivah) community, one of the great disciples of the Chazon Ish, and a member of Degel HaTorah's Council of Torah Sages. He served as the rosh yeshivah of the junior Ponovezh and delivered lectures there for almost 60 consecutive years. He taught thousands of students, many of whom are rabbis, heads of yeshivahs and famous Talmudic scholars.
