Born in Vitebsk, Belarus.
Studied at the Latvian Academy of Arts (1936-1938),graduated Latvian Art Academy with diploma "Ballet rehearsal" (1949). Has worked as a teacher in the city of Riga 16 primary school(1934-1943.Was the artist of the Riga Medical staff house (1946-1947), Latvian State Publishing house (1947-1950). Latvian SSR Artists Union from 1956th. Participated in exhibitions in Riga(1966,1971,1975,1984), Jelgava, Talsi and and elsewhere.
