REGNIER MARIE DE: (1875-1963) Also known as Marie de Heredia, or her pen-name Gérard D´Houville. French Novelist & Poet. An important figure of the Parisian artistic circles. An excellent set of three documents, in French, including relatives and important members of Marie de Heredia artistic circle, comprising an A.L.S., `Marie de Regnier´, to the front and verso of a postcard photograph, 1919, to Miss Bourdillin. Marie de Regnier states in part `Dear Mademoiselle, may be it is too late for this message to please you. But I have been very ill and all my correspondence has remained without response..´ Signed at the base of the front cover, the image showing the Colonnade at the Parc Monceau in Paris; together with JOSE MARIA DE HEREDIA (1842-1905) Cuban-born French Poet. Father of Marie de Heredia. A.L.S., one page, 8vo, Paris, n.d. [c.1885], to Henry Houssaye. Jose Maria de Heredia reminds his correspondent his promise regarding an invitation. Folded; also including HENRI DE REGNIER (1864-1936) French Poet. A renowned symbolist author. Husband of Marie de Regnier. A.L.S., one page, 8vo, Paris, n.d., on the printed stationery of ''Le Journal'', Rue de Richelieu, to an unidentified woman. Henri de Regnier states in part `Le Passé Vivant is a novel and a work of pure imagination. It has not a ''belief'' as starting point but an ''impression¨..´ Repaired to the verso to the centre fold.
