Ben-Tzion Wax was born in Tel Aviv in 1936. He was one of the biggest collectors in Israel.  He started collecting stamps at age 10, then coins, banknotes, famous signatures/autographs, art, judaica, old books, silver, and items pertaining to pre-State Israel.  Wax even collected unique birds, massive fish tanks and more.

In 1983 he moved with his family to Ramot HaShavim. Ben-Tzion Wax died suddenly and unexpectedly in 2017, in the backyard of his home, among the animals he took care of and loved.

 R' Baruch is considered one of the biggest Sephardi cantors and was also a "talmid chacham" who wrote many books. He is the first to sing "Yigdal" to the tune of "HaTikava" (Israel's national anthem)
