Lot of 2 posters with blessings, illustrated, for Rosh Hashanah and Purim, lithograph printing—Jerusalem, beginning of the 20th century.
1. L’Shana Tova, colorful lithograph printing, with 12 Tribes of Israel, Jerusalem, Rachel’s Tomb, and the Western Wall. Under that is a basket filled with Israeli fruit and the inscription “All of the blessings are sent to you from the Land of Israel, Zion, and Jerusalem…” Under that is an illustration of Tel Aviv port and a Jew turning to Zion, above which is an angel and the inscription “I have returned the people of Israel…” Printed by Moshe EfkovitzAchvah, Jerusalem, 20th century. 25cm. Fold in the middle. Generally good condition. 2. Blessing for MishloachManot of Purim. In the center is a quote from a verse in the Megillah, and a piyyut that beginnings each sentence with the letters “MishloachManot” and then sentences beginning with the letters of “L’Purim.” Decorated with a frame and illustrations of colorful flowers, illustration of the Temple Mount. Printed by Natanson Jerusalem. 23.5x29.5cm. Good condition.
