Letter from Rabbi Yehoshua Benzion Segari to Rabbi Binyamin Segari in Italian and Hebrew. 1783.
With signature of Rav Yehoshua Segari. Rav Yehoshua was a student of Rabbi Yehuda Briel, Rav Gur Aryeh Pinzi of Mantua, and his uncle Rabbi Avraham of Casselli. He was a dayan in Vercelli, chazan in Scandiano-Padua. Authored Bikoret Issur, Sar HaTabachim, and more. He was the rosh beit din in Paris in 1806, a member of the Sanhedrin of Napoleon (some say that is a mistake and that he died earlier). Eulogized in Padua by Rabbi Yitzhak Refael Pinzi. Generally good condition.
