FREUD SIGMUND: (1856-1939) Austrian Neurologist & Founder of Psychoanalysis. Freud formulated the Oedipus complex and developed his theory on the Analysis of Dreams. He lived and worked in Vienna until 1938 when he escaped the Nazis and went to the United Kingdom where he lived in exile the last year of his life. A good A.N.S., Freud, one page, to a postcard, Vienna, 2nd of March 1934, to Doctor Pierre Laroque, addressed to the verso in Freud´s `Docteur Pierre Laroque´, in German. Freud states in full `Thank you for sending your ''Essay sur l´évolution du Moi''! - Freud´. Postmarked and post-stamped to the verso, showing a printed image of the Forchtenstein castle in Burgenland. Small staining. Accompanied by a copy of Pierre Laroque´s book Essai sur L´évolution du ''Moi'', a Vigot Freres Editeurs, from Paris, first edition, 1934, which is referred to in the present letter of Freud.
