Ishmametov Enver Dzerulovich (1916, the Penza Region – 2000, Moscow).
Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Arts named after V.I. Surikov (1942). Studied under S.V. Gerasimov and S.M. Shegal. He prepared his degree work under the lead of A.A. Deineka. Since 1944 he has been permanent participant of artistic exhibitions. Member of the Moscow Organization of the Russian Union of Artists. Author of genre paintings, such as ‘Sabantuy’, portraits and landscapes. Paintings by E.D. Ishmametov are available in the Museum of Fine Arts in Tatarstan, in many Russian museums, and also in private collections in Russia and abroad, in Germany, France, Italy, the USA.
