Russkikh Anatoliy Erefelievich (1940-2000).
Painter. Worked in the genres of landscape, portrait, plot composition. The artist follows the traditions of Russian realistic art. He studied at the Sverdlovsk Art College (1962-1967) at the picturesque department. Beginning of creative work since 1967. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1990. After graduation he came to the Arctic, worked in the Vorkuta workshops of the Komi branch of the Art Fund of the RSFSR. The participant of exhibitions since 1969. The main theme of creativity is the modern life of the Far North. His works are in many regional museums and in private collections in Russia, Germany and the United States.
