Zverev Anatolii Timofeevich (1931, Moscow – 1986, Moscow).
The famous Moscow nonconformist, representative of the unofficial art in the 1960-1980s. He was expelled from the 1905 Year Artistic College few months after the matriculation “because of formalism”. His works were exhibited mainly in the home exhibitions during 1959-1962. His first foreign exhibition was organized in the Paris gallery “Mot” in 1965. Zverev’s works are kept in the Tretyakov State Gallery, Museum of Modern Art and in private collections.
