Slepyshev Anatoly Stepanovich (born in 1932, in Lopatkino village of the Penza province - 2016).
Honored artist of the RF, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, State Prize laureate (2002). Was a student of A. Deineka in Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov. In 1990-1996 lived and worked in Paris. In this period about thirty personal exhibitions were held in France. In 1992 became a member of “Maison des artistes” (Paris). Participant of Sotheby’s auction in Moscow. Since 1996 to 2001 held over 100 personal exhibitions. The works of the artist are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin, in many regional museums in Russia and abroad.
