המחבר האדמו"ר רבי אורי לנדמן מסטרליסק [תקצ"ח-תרע"ז], היה נכדו של ה"שרף" רבי אורי מסטרליסק. הוא הסתופף בצילם של האדמו"רים ה"שר שלום" מבעלזא ורבי יצחק מנשכיז. כיהן ברבנות בערים ווישנוביץ שברוסיה, לעספיץ ופודול-אילואי שברומניה. (ראה אודותיו: אנציקלופדיה לחסידות, א, עמ' רד-רה).
