Elegant album with [25] pictures of daily life at the Ruchamah school. The album was sent to Mrs. Hinda Ostrovsky, wife of R' Moshe Ostrovsky, daughter of the renowned activist R' Gedaliah Nachman Broder. 1937.
The Ruchamah School for Girls was the first Hebrew school for girls in Jerusalem based on religious tradition. For an extensive treatment of this important institution, click here.
[25] photographs. Most of the photographs are in postcard format; some are smaller. There are another [7] photographs included with this lot, one of which is blemished. The photographs are placed in a designated velour album with the institution's emblem. Album size: 13.5x21 cm.
Overall fine-very fine condition. Light blemishes and aging stains.
