Rare Invitation from the Rebbe Rabbi Aharon of Belz for his Nephew's Wedding - the Father of the Admo"r of Machnovka-Belz
"May Hashem help that we merit the joy of our redemption speedily in our days. The youth Aharon of Belz."
Printed invitation, signed (in print) by the sacred brothers, the Admo"r Rabbi Aharon of Belz and the Rebbe Rabbi Mordechai of Bilgoray, to the wedding of their brother's son, the Rebbe Rabbi Yitzchak David Rokeach, son of the Rebbe Rabbi Yehoshua Rokeach, may his blood be avenged, of Yaroslav, son of the sacred Admo"r Rabbi Yissachar Dov of Belz. Jerusalem, Nissan, 1946.
This invitation was sent by the sacred brothers, the Admo"r Rabbi Aharon of Belz and the Rebbe Rabbi Mordechai of Bilgoray, at the bridegroom's side in place of their holy brother, who was no longer among the living. The bridegroom is the father of the Admo"r of Machnovka-Belz shlit"a.
The wedding took place a short time after the conclusion of the terrible Holocaust, in which the bridegroom's father was murdered along with all the Admo"r's descendants.
Note that no title was written after the bridegroom's father's name, not shlit"a, and not ztz"l nor hy"d. It could be that at the time, they did not know whether he was alive or not.
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of Rabbi Aharon Rokeach of Belz.
