A CIVIL WAR PISTOL: COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER, .36 CAL.
Colt Navy M1851 revolver, .36 caliber, s/n 27602 9matching). The barrel is marked "Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America", the left side of the frame is marked "Colts Patent." Walnut stock, round barrel. The cylinder is marked "PAT SEPTEMBER 10TH 1850". Polished brass trigger guard and back strap, fixed front sight.
L: 9 1/2 in., ( 24 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, slight signs of age and wear. Some slight scratches in the wood and a little rusting on the metal.
