A VERY RARE SPANISH (CATALAN) MIQUELET PISTOL, 18 C.
With an octagonal barrel section at the breach and a slightly tapering barrel towards the end. The furniture is of steel. The stock is carved of walnut. This miquelet pistol came from Catalonia, in the northwestern area of Spain. Miquelets were Catalan militiamen during the 17th and 18th centuries.
L: 13 3/4 in., (35 cm.)
Condition: Very good, good action.
