Letter with Abundant Blessings Handwritten by the Lubavitcher Rebbe
Letter from the Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch, to his aunt, the honorable Rebbetzin, Mrs. Rachel [Schneersohn, wife of his Uncle Rabbi Shalom Shlomo]. Brooklyn, New York, 25 Shevat, 1960.
The Rebbe blesses extremely important blessings in this letter (it could be that the Rebbe is so plentiful in his blessings due to the close family relationship): "May it be His will that everyone share good, happy news with everyone else, in all its details."; "Blessings for good news"; "tranquility, happiness and good-heartedness." But the most wondrous blessing of all is the one at the top of the letter, something of an open check, signed by the Rebbe, for anything one wants! The Rebbe writes as follows in this unique blessing: "May it be his will that just as [you] wrote the request, [you] receive glad tidings as such." The Rebbe essentially blesses that just as the request was sent to him, this is the way in which it will be fulfilled!! This blessing is current, and even more so in our generation, an orphaned generation, when the connection between the Rebbe and his followers is only through his writings.
[1] leaf paper, approximately 21x28 cm. Official stationery, typewritten with the addition of characteristic corrections and punctuation marks in the Rebbe's hand, and with his signature at the end.
Very fine condition: Tiny tears in the signature, from the acidity of the ink.
