Pewter Hanukkah Menorah Germany Early 18th Century
Rare Silver Plated Pewter Hanukkah Menorah, Rhein Valley, Germany, Early 18th Century, Judaica.
The menorah is cast and engraved, the backplate depicts two ramping lions flanking a cartouche engraved - M 1737, topped with a Torah crown and a hole to enable hanging.
The eight oil fonts are under a hinged lid (damaged) and set on four shape supports.
Detachable servant light (Shamosh).
Fine Patina.
Authentic example of 18th century pewter Hanukkah Menorah.

Height - 18.5cm / 7.28in.
Width - 16cm / 6.3in.
722gr / 23.2oz.

Condition: Good condition with damages to the lid and the base (as seen in the pictures).
